Hello lovely Reader!
I hope this letter finds you well.
Another month has passed by, and i have collected a bunch of my favourites again. Ranging from music and food to podcasts and Instagram accounts.
To me September felt both busy and very calm. I think it was because i was out and about quite a lot, at least for me, but on the days i was at home, without any plans, i took it really slow.
Just in case you are new here: welcome, i am very happy that you are here. This is my monthly newsletter, filled with things that have inspired me this past month, things that i loved and some of my favourites.
Food
The thing i ate most was probably Falafel wraps. Most of the time bought from a kebab shop, but also homemade wraps with hummus, lettuce, onions, and all the good stuff. I am a huge falafel fan, if you have never tried a falafel wrap i HIGHLY recommend.
Another thing i loved this month was instant noodles but fried with egg, spring onions and carrot strips. Probably not super healthy, but it tastes divine!
As for breakfast i wrote a whole blog post, that you can read here, about different things i had for breakfast in September. Why you ask? One of my goals for the month, was to make myself nice breakfasts every day. Where i was going with this? Another food favourite of mine was a smoothie bowl that i made, delicious.
Music and Podcasts
My most listened to music this month was the Dance Fever album by Florence + the Machine. My favourites at the moment are “Daffodil” and “Cassandra”.
I also rediscovered my love for “I’d be a Maria” by Kora Feder and “Captain’s Dance With the Devil” by Cody Simpson.
As for podcasts my favourite was the BBC Earth Podcast. I have listened to a few of their episodes and they always amaze me so much. Definitely give it a listen if you like nature documentaries.
Books
I sadly didn’t read very much this month. I finished one book, started another but it has been real slow reading for me. But a few days ago, i started reading Crescent City 2 by Sarah J Maas and i really hope that i will be able to finish it this month. It has a lot of pages but if it is anything like book 1, and so far, it seems promising, i am sure i will fly through the almost 800 pages. That’s what i love about Sarah J. Mass’ books they grab you and don’t let you go until after you finished them. So, if you are looking for rich fantasy, SJM is your girl.
Update: I finished it today! And what an ending…. If you know you know…….
Creative
This month, similar to last month i did a lot of knitting and some drawing in my sketchbook. I am nearly done with my knitting project, only a few finishing touches are missing.
Update: I finished it today, just in time!
Here are two spreads form my sketchbook. The first one is of some of the things i have been harvesting in our garden cucumbers, tomatoes and raspberries. I love that i am able to go out into the garden and pick these vegetables and fruits, some of which are hand grown. All the credit goes to my father though, he did all the planting and watering, i’m only doing the fun part: the harvesting and eating:
The next one is gouache and coloured pencil, inspired by @eloise_rosanna_art on Instagram. She posted an inktober prompt list that really inspired me and even though it isn’t October yet i decided to paint a few of her prompts. This one is my favourite.
I also took advantage of the last summer blooms in the garden to make two boquets, both autumnal in different ways, but both equally lovely if i may say so myself.
In the next section i would like to share some people that have inspired me. They are all creators i admire and who’s content i enjoy.

What else?
At the end of this month i will be traveling to Sweden for 3 whole months to do work and travel with my friend. This month has been filled with packing, buying missing things, including a huge gorgeously blue backpack, and getting everything organised.
Nothing will change for this newsletter ( i hope, fingers crossed), only the location i will be writing from.
To end this newsletter i have a little something for you: My autumn playlist on Spotify to ring in my favourite season.
You can find the playlist here.
That brings this newsletter to an end. I would love to hear some feedback from you. What did you enjoy, were there too many photos, was it too long, would you like me to add another section next month.
You can either leave a comment with feedback or just reply to this email. That would be really helpful.
Wishing yu a wonderful October,
Pippa xxx
Excited to hear of your time in Sweden! I was there for the first time in summer of 2019 and just loved it💛
